About the Lovenest

Lovenest Studios was designed and built by Perry Fawcett Yeldham, and is located in an old brick chocolate mill building in the Dorchester Lower Mills area of Boston.

The studio has been renovated and expanded to make it an ideal place for producers to record vocals or instruments with world class microphones, for mixers to utilize the analog console and processors for that extra boost of gold-dust, and for artists to build radio ready tracks in an inspiring and creative space.

Perry grew up in the old section of downtown Philadelphia and worked professionally as a self-taught musician before attending Berklee College of Music in Boston.

After a career of touring with artists such as John Lee Hooker, The Coasters, Big Mama Thornton, The Fantastic Johnny C, and others, he worked as a studio musician in Paris, France playing bass on hundreds of records. His credits include playing behind multi-platinum artists Gilbert Montagne and Nino Ferrer. He eventually returned to the states and was ultimately signed with his group Bijou to Atlantic Records.

Now retired from touring, Perry is thrilled to spend endless hours at the Lovenest, composing, recording, producing, and mixing great music.
